Straight to the Point Archery is a nonprofit archery education center that uses detailed technical video analysis combined with generations of archery experience from certified coaches and instructors to train our students. We offer several types of lessons to accommodate everyone from beginner to elite. Archers of all ages and ability train at our center, often competing in tournaments.

Straight to the Point Archery offers group lessons, private classes, birthday and corporate parties. We also have several homeschooling programs, kids club events, YMCA classes, and Boy and Girl Scouts achievement programs. We are dedicated to teaching valuable life skills to the youth in our community through the wonderful discipline of archery. About the Founder

Giap Nguyen started Straight to the Point Archery in 2005. He's an avid and accomplished archer, having competed with the United States Archery Team in the 2000 Summer Olympics. He has three children, and started Straight to the Point Archery in 2005 to improve archery education for them. Since then, Giap's method of teaching — and the successful competition record of his students — has made Straight to the Point Archery the most popular choice for archery training in Tacoma.

Location and Hours

Straight to the Point Archery is a state-of-the-art educational and training facility with more than 28 indoor shooting lanes, two private coaching rooms and an outdoor shooting field. We are centrally located within the Tacoma area, with easy access to major roads. Our outdoor hours are limited by the seasons, but our indoor facility is open for training from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. 7 days a week.
